LinaTech LLC spotlighted its Dual Camera 2mm Stereotactic Radiosurgery (D2SRS) and KZ1800 Imaging Panel at AAPM57th annual meeting
As the leading manufacturer of medical devices and software for treating cancer with radiotherapy, LinaTech proved its superiority once again by setting new standards for the radiation oncology field. High amounts of interests were shown not only by innumerous Doctors and Medical Physicists that eitherwork at or own prestigious and prominent radiation oncology centers, but also CEOs and Product Managers from smaller scaled companies to largercorporations. A bright future lies ahead of LinaTech, and the turnout of this AAPM tradeshow reinforces that idea.
LinaTech’s state-of-the-art micro MLC D2SRS and imaging panel TiGRT IVS has drawn the most attention at this show.
The D2SRS is the number one add-on Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS) andStereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) solution. It is a 2mm leaf thinness at isocenter Multi-leaf Collimator (MLC) with dual cameras for patient tracking, 12 adjustable cone sizes for accuracy, and a 10x10cm treatment field. Its advantages come from the ability for one person to attach the MLC to any Linear Accelerator for SRS/SBRT treatment, and remove it again for larger field IMRT/conformal plans. This cutting edge technology will reinvent the idea of thin leaves on a new machine, and revitalize all older units with the capabilities of SRS/SBRT treatment. Along with the Monte-Carlo Based Treatment Planning System (TPS) and the Best MV Image Viewing System (IVS), the D2SRS will surely shine brightly in the years to come.
The KZ1800 is an MV panel created and manufactured by LinaTech LLC. With the sharpest 6MV images in the market, everyone can surely notice the amazing 2688 x 2688 pixel resolution. This Flat Panel Amorphous Silicon (a-Si) Detector can be mounted onto any linear accelerator. If the unit has a beamstopper, the panel may be mounted onto the beamstopper itself, with the proper shielding to protect electronics outside its 41x41cm field size. If a beamstopper is not present, LinaTech LLC provides a 3D Frame as an option. This 3D Frame acts as a mechanical arm to lift the KZ1800 detector with a push of a button either from the remote control or software. After imaging, the arm closeswithin seconds, just as fast as it opens. With the KZ1800 detector, IGRT treatment has never been as easy and accurate as it is now.
